Exploration Food is home to the culinary adventures of Ana Cabrera & Lea Cabrera. The gals grew up in a close Filipino home where good food was the norm. Every celebration meant a feast on the table. They grew up always eating dinner as a family, and enjoying weekend adventures to find culinary delights. From a tender age, the Cabrera family knew how to enjoy good food. For this family, food is more than sustenance… it is the culture.

Exploration Food is where you will find restaurant reviews, informational “bites” about unique foods, recipes, travel stories, not to mention the adventures of bringing along their kids along for the ride. Food, fun, and Family is what it is about.

There are no food snobs here. From hole in the wall joints in China town that would make any health inspector cringe to $200 a plate high end restaurants, or French Fries to Foie  - we  love it all. This world has so much to taste, see, and offer there is nothing they won’t try.

By day, Ana serves as the Director of Online/Social media for Northridge Publishing. It goes without saying, this self proclaimed foodie and former chef loves to play online. Ana developed ExplorationFood.com as a hobby – a way to share her passion for good eats. Ana is a single mother of three daughters – who share her love of culinary delights. Every trip she takes, Ana carefully plans her  gourmet itinerary ensuring she doesn’t miss a single delicious bite that a city (or coutryside) may have to offer.
